《四声篇海》校勘概说

On the collation of Si Sheng Pian Hai

《四声篇海》是金代韩道昭编的古代收字最多的楷书字典,首创五音四声排部、笔画检字法,在辞书史上有重要影响,但该书在历代修订中不可避免地存在问题,影响了后世如《康熙字典》《汉语大字典》《中华字海》等大型工具书。科学整理《四声篇海》,要明了其自身的注音、释义、引书、沟通异体的体例,并结合本校、对校、他校、理校的校勘学方法。

Si Sheng Pian Hai is a regular script dictionary compiled by Han Daozhao in Jin Dynasty.It creates the five-note and four-tone arrangement and the stroke and character checking method,which has an important influence on the history of dictionaries,such as Kangxi Dictionary,The Great Chinese Dictionary,the Sea of Chinese Characters.In order to use the book scientifically,we should clarify its systems of phonetic notation,paraphrasing,citation and variants,in combination with the different collating methods in collation theory.
