The rapid development of information technology affects all aspects of people's lives.At present,the world is seizing the opportunity,especially in oil and gas field exploration operations.It is necessary to further promote the development of logging technology to ensure more efficient work.Therefore,this article focuses on the development of logging technology;the technological innovation of logging instruments;the development direction of the application of logging technology;the application analysis of logging instrument technology in petroleum engineering four points,starting from multiple angles,proposes specific feasible methods,to provide effective reference for the follow-up work.
