The perfect marriage has always been a harmonious theme for human beings,and Canadian writer Alice Munro sets a good example.She takes Hegel’s marriage ethics as a reference and vividly describes the“personalized”marriage of female characters.At the same time,she also pays attention to Hegel’s“moral love with the meaning of law”and explains it as the prerequisite to ensure a happy marriage which is the responsibility for the“other”.Accordingly,Munro's short stories not only systematically expound the conditions for the formation of a happy marriage,from the egoism of marriage to the“responsibility”of the other in marriage,but also provide a rich theoretical basis for a happy marriage that is compatible with modern industrial society.
