Silage can not only improve the feeding value and storage performance of green feed,but also improve the digestibility of green feed in ruminants and improve the production performance of ruminants.Currently,with the rapid development of the mutton sheep breeding industry,the application of silage in ruminant production is becoming more and more extensive.The article mainly reviews the effects of feed silage on the digestibility of mutton sheep,the physical and chemical indicators of feces,and the structure of microbiota in the feces,which aims to understand the performance of feed silage on mutton sheep,and the impact of fecal emission reduction and fecal microorganisms.Furthermore,it can also provide some reference materials for the application of silage in mutton sheep breeding.
