Based on the collection of information on the world s plastics industry from July 2019 to June 2020,the developments of the world s plastics industry from 2019 to 2020 were introduced,providing the production and consumption of world s plastics,as well as the demand for types of resin and capacity situation.In the order of thermoplastic resin(polyethylene,polypropylene,polyvinyl chloride,polystyrene,styrene copolymer),the resin production,resin consumption,resin supply-demand,synthetic technology of resin,application development of product,extension of resin varieties and further extension of resin applications were reviewed.
