The mathematical pattern has important values in mathematics and mathematics education.From the three dimensions of content,source and requirement,this paper analyzes the content of patterns in the field of“Patterns and Algebra”in the Australian mathematics curriculum standards.The curriculum design shows the unity of integrity and stage,and the content shows features such as the diversity of pattern forms and sources.Mathematics curriculums should fully reflect the educational value of the pattern,and pay attention to the diversity and extensiveness of the content of the mathematical pattern,and the stage and continuity of the pattern content learning.
