中国人坚定自己民主道路自信的底气何来?——兼论民主原教旨主义及“中国特色威权主义”

民主原教旨主义是一种宣扬民主至上论、民主程序至上论、西方民主程序普世论等的浅薄荒谬且危害极大的理论。中国拒斥这种理论,但也并非奉行某些论者所指谓的“中国特色威权主义”。因为这种指谓所表达的是一个内含逻辑矛盾,把中国人民政府的权威混同于专制政府的威权,以及用西方“选票胜出”来否定中国共产党“实践胜出”之执政合法性的错误观点。中国民主是深扎于中华民本政治传统沃土之中的,以服务人民、党的领导、协商全程高效等为根本特点和优长的民主制度安排与运作。正是通过中外比较而得以彰显的中国民主特色及其巨大成功,使中国人具有了坚定中国民主道路自信的昂扬底气和一路前行的强大动力。

Democratic fundamentalism is a shallow,ridiculous and harmful theory that advocates the supremacy of democracy and its procedure and the universality of western democratic procedure.China objects to this theory but does not agree with the so-called“authoritarianism with Chinese characteristics”because the latter has inner logical contradiction which confuses the authority of Chinese government with the dictatorship of autocratic government and attempts to negate the ruling legality of the CPC with“success through practice”by the western model of“success through ballot.”Chinese democracy,deeply rooted in the fertile soil of people-oriented political tradition,is the arrangement and operation of democratic system with basic characteristics and advantages such as serving the people,Party leadership,effective consultancy,etc.It is the success of Chinese democracy,through international comparison,that enables the Chinese people to have confidence in the path of Chinese democracy and provides them with the momentum to go forward.
