Measures and methods for improving the quality of girth welds in oil and gas pipeline engineering construction

近年来国内油气长输管道质量事故时有发生,其中环焊缝失效是主因。为深入剖析环焊缝失效的根源,通过对近年来环焊缝失效事件的统计与原因分析,对标国内外主要焊接标准在技术与管理方面的差异,采用鱼骨图分析法,围绕焊接工艺规程的制定及执行、环焊缝失效管控等方面的问题,从人、机、料、法、环等方面逐一进行原因分析,并针对性地提出环焊缝质量提升的措施与方法,包括推广应用自动焊技术、着力提升焊缝接头性能、优化焊接工艺管理过程、加强焊工全过程管理、严格焊机和焊材管理、落实焊接质量管理制度、发挥智能化手段助力作用等。

In recent years,the quality accidents of long-distance oil and gas pipelines in China occur from time to time,among which the failure of girth welds is the main cause.In order to deeply analyze the root causes of girth weld failure,through the statistics and cause analysis of girth weld failure events happend in recent years,the differences in technology and management among the main welding standards at home and abroad are analyzed by fishbone diagram analysis method.Aimed at the problems in formulation and implementation of welding procedure specifications and in girth weld failure control,the causes of girth weld failure are analyzed from the aspects of“human,machine,material,method and ring”,and the measures and methods of improving girth weld quality are put forward,which include popularizing and applying automatic welding technology,improving weld joint performance,optimizing welding management process,strengthening whole process management for welders,strict welding machine and welding material management,implementing welding quality management system,exerting intelligent means to help,etc.
