The fire hydrant system is an important part of fire protection design of industrial buildings.Based on the engineering practice of a metallurgical industrial plant in North China,it is proposed that the dry-wet conversion fire hydrant system adapts better to the climate change in northern China.The application examples of dry system type selection,water filling time,fast opening and closing electric valve,automatic fast exhaust valve,pipeline anti-corrosion,etc.in dry-wet conversion fire hydrant system are introduced in de⁃tail.
