Causes and prevention of diabetic foot in elderly patients with diabetes mellitus

目的:探究老年糖尿病患者糖尿病足的诱因和预防方法。方法:2019年1月-2020年6月收治老年糖尿病患者120例,根据有无糖尿病足分为试验组和常规组。比较两组相关因素,总结老年糖尿病患者的糖尿病足诱因和预防措施。结果:试验组患者对糖尿病足相关知识了解不足、血糖控制不理想、合并血管疾病及神经病变的比例均显著高于常规组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。试验组经过预防和治疗后均治愈。结论:老年糖尿病患者对糖尿病足的相关知识了解不足,血糖控制不理想,合并血管疾病、神经病变等是糖尿病足发病的诸多诱因,应该积极向患者普及知识,控制血糖水平在合理范围,与患者进行沟通,积极治疗合并症。

Objective:To explore the causes and prevention methods of diabetic foot in elderly diabetic patients.Methods:From January 2019 to June 2020,120 cases of elderly diabetic patients were enrolled,they were divided into experimental group and control group according to whether had diabetic foot.The related factors in two groups were compared to summarize the causes and prevention of diabetic foot in elderly diabetic patients.Results:The knowledge of diabetic foot,blood glucose control of the control group were better than those of experimental group,the proportion of patients with vascular disease and associated neuropathy was significantly higher than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The patients in experimental group were cured after prevention and treatment.Conclusion:The elderly diabetic patients have insufficient knowledge of diabetic foot,unfavorable control of blood sugar,complicated with vascular disease,which are many causes of diabetic foot,doctors should actively popularize knowledge to patients,help patients control blood sugar level in a reasonable range,communicate with patients and actively treat complications.
