The Influence of the Communist Party of China on the Northeast People’s Anti-Japanese and Salvation Congress after the September 18 Incident

九一八事变爆发后,中国共产党多次发表抗日宣言通电,号召中国民众武装反抗日本侵略。在其影响下,流亡入关的东北流亡民众组建了东北民众抗日救国会,率先在全国开展东北抗日救亡运动。大批中国共产党党员和共青团员及反帝大同盟盟员等全力支持这个抗日救亡团体,在抗日救亡宣传、帮助组建抗日义勇军方面付诸了大量心血,从而使救国会在抗战初期的地位与作用凸显。中国共产党之所以能行之有效地对东北民众抗日救国会开展工作,除了其能在民族危亡时刻客观分析形势、制定出正确方针外,其统一战线政策是团结制胜的法宝,为全民族抗日民族统一战线的形成积累了一定经验。

After the outbreak of the September 18th Incident,the Chinese Communist Party(CCP)issued the anti-Japanese declarations and telegrams several times,calling on the Chinese people to resist the Japanese aggression with arms.Under its influence,the Northeast Exiled Group,which had been exiled into Shanhaiguan,established the Northeast People’s Anti-Japanese Salvation Association and took the lead in launching the Northeast People’s Anti-Japanese Salvation Movement in the whole country.A large number of CCP members as well as members of the Anti-imperialist Alliance fully supported this anti-Japanese Salvation Group.They made great efforts into the anti-Japanese propaganda and established the Anti-Japanese Volunteer Army,thus highlighting the status and role of the National Salvation Army in the early stage of the Anti-Japanese War.In addition to the CCP’s capability in objectively analyzing the situation and formulating a correct policy at a time of national crisis,the CCP’s united front policy is the magic weapon of unity and victory,accumulating certain experience for the formation of a national anti-Japanese united front for the whole country.
