The Internationalization Way of the“Double First-Class”Construction

国际化是中国高等教育走向世界一流的重要选择。改革开放以来,中国高等教育国际化取得了令人瞩目的成绩,但与世界一流高校相比还存在一定的差距。中国的“双一流”建设必须以国际化为抓手和引领,有效提升人才培养、师资培育、学科建设、科学研究的国际化水平。此外,还必须增强质量意识和风险意识,正确处理好数量与质量、内涵与外延、近期利益与长远利益、本土化与国际化、中国与西方的辩证关系,以促进中国高等教育国际化平稳、协调、可持续性发展。

Internationalization is the important way for China’s higher education to first-class of the world.Since the reform and opening up,China′s higher education internationalization has achieved remarkable achievements,but there is still a certain gap compared with world-class universities.China′s“double first-class”construction must take internationalization as the starting point and guide,and effectively improve the internationalization level of talent training,teacher training,discipline construction,and scientific research.In addition,it is necessary to strengthen the awareness of quality and risk,and correctly handle the dialectical relationship between quantity and quality,connotation and extension,short-term and long-term interests,localization and internationalization,and China and the West,so as to promote the stable,coordinated and sustainable development of the internationalization of Chinese higher education.
