摘要
本研究基于需求分析理论,通过问卷和访谈的形式对普通高校非英语专业学生的英语学习现状及需求情况进行调查,旨在了解学生对英语选修课的需求与满意度,以期构建适应学生个人需求和未来职业发展的大学英语拓展课程。调查结果显示,受访学生对大学英语选修课的需求强烈,其中文化类课程和语言技能类课程较受青睐;在语言运用和课程选择上,他们更重视知识的实用性和趣味性。
This paper approaches university students’present learning situation and future needs for English learning under the framework of needs analysis.A questionnaire was designed to investigate students’needs and satisfaction for the English selective courses,in the hope of constructing and optimizing English electives which may meet students’learning needs and career requirements.The findings of the survey revealed that students had strong and varied needs for selective courses,with a clear focus on culture-related courses and language competence improvement.As to what factors may influence their choice of the courses,they tend to consider whether the course is practical or useful.
