Four Dimensions of Spatial Evolution on Campus A Holistic View of Future-oriented Campus

当代大学正经历着迅速而深刻的改变。数字革命和互联网技术不仅带来学习方式的重大变革,也重塑了人们的日常学习生活状态。现代大学的发展历史,也是大学紧随技术革命的时代步伐,适应社会需求不断进化的过程。面向未来的校园空间应如何承载大学之道?如何适应时代变革带来的冲击和挑战?又如何应对后疫情时期教学方式的改变?文章出于对这些问题的思考,结合对世界一流大学的考察研究,按宏观—微观、公共—私密、实体—虚拟的逻辑关系,提出校园空间进化的四个维度——城市空间、群落空间、个体空间,以及虚拟空间,尝试建构一种面向未来的大学校园空间整体观。

Contemporary universities of our time are undergoing rapid and profound changes.Digital revolution and internet technology not only bring about great changes in the way of learning but also reshape people’s daily life.The development of modern universities is also a process of spatial evolution on campus,adapting to the pace of technological revolution and the demands of society.How does a future campus carry out a university’s vision?How to adapt to the challenge of the time?How to deal with the change of teaching methods in the post-epidemic period?Starting from these questions,also the investigation and research of world-class universities,this paper puts forward four dimensions of the space of contemporary universities:urban space,community space,individual space,and virtual space in terms of the logical order of macro-micro,public-private,entityvirtual,trying to construct a holistic view of futureoriented campus space.
