摘要
木薯原产美洲,于清道光年间传入中国,并在广东各地逐渐推广传种,民国时有过一场大规模的推广运动。本文全面梳理木薯在晚清、民国广东的引种推广过程,包括探讨木薯最早传入中国的时间及地点,阐述木薯在广东从早期平稳渐进,到抗战时期快速发展的推广过程。最后,分析探讨木薯在广东成功推广的动因。
Cassava is native to South America,In the reign of Daoguang,the Qing Dynasty,cassava was introduced to China,and gradually spread in Guangdong.This paper comprehensively analyzed the introduction and promotion of cassava in Guangdong in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,including the time and place when cassava was first introduced into China,the development in the Republic of China,especially the rapid development during the Anti-Japanese War.Finally,the reasons for the successful extension of cassava in Guangdong were analyzed.
