大江健三郎是继日本作家川端康成之后第二个获得“诺贝尔文学”的现当代著名作家。他凭藉敏锐的观察力和哲理性思考,在自己的作品中写入了人类共同关心的问题,并通过自己文学世界的小宇宙(故乡、森林、绿树和生活在同社会密切相关的人)折射到世界文学的大宇宙,以我们共同生活的地球乃至整个宇宙为中心内容。他立足现实,又以超强的想象力超越现实,把现实中的重大问题同日本式的神话融为一体,使作品既写实又浪漫,既有人类共同生活的内容,充满现实主义的色彩,又带有浓郁的传奇风格。其文学创作在凸显日本现代文学之美的同时,把日本批判现实主义文学推向了一个新境地。
Kenzaburo Oe is the second contemporary writer in Japan to receive the“Nobel Prize”after Yasunari Kawabata.By taking advantage of his sharp observatory skills and philosophical insights,he invokes some of the common issues that human beings care about in his work.Through his writing,he embodies a small universe of his own work including his hometown,forests,trees and people who are closely connected to the society,which he projects to the bigger universe of the world's literature,with the planet earth we live on and the whole universe as its very core.He not only bases his work on reality,but also transcends it with his strong imagination.He combines some of the major issues in real life with Japanese mythology;thus his work is both realistic and romantic,portraying real life scenarios and realism,as well as overflowing with legendary style.While highlighting the beauty of contemporary Japanese literature,his work also brings critical realism in Japan to a new level.
