摘要
战后阿拉伯现实主义小说的繁荣是阿拉伯现代小说成熟的标志,其发生发展过程恰好与战后阿拉伯世界的去殖民化进程相合,在阿拉伯民族解放运动中发挥过积极作用。阿拉伯作家在借鉴欧洲现实主义创作手法的基础上,创作了大量服务现实政治的作品,其最高成就是埃及作家迈哈福兹的《开罗三部曲》。作为以现代化、民族主义、世俗化为特征的阿拉伯去殖民化进程的文化表征,阿拉伯现实主义小说虽然缺乏具有阿拉伯民族特色的独创性,但是其创作的繁荣则确立了小说这一文学样式在曾经以诗歌为主导的阿拉伯文学中的地位。
The flourishing of postwar Arabian realist novels marks the maturity of the novel in modern Arab.Having played an active role in Arab's national liberation movement,its generation and development coincide with the process of decolonization in the Arab world.The Arabian writers,by imitating the techniques of the European realist novel,create a lot of literary works which serve the contemporary political situations and are crowned with the Egyptian writer Mahfouz's The Cairo Trilogy.Postwar Arabian realist novels,as cultural representations of the process of decolonization,and help to establish the novel as a major genre in Arabian literature which was once dominated by poetry.
