外语、异质与新生命的萌发——关于翻译对异质性的处理

Foreign Languages,Foreignness and New Life:On the Treatment of Foreignness in Translation

文学,是对生命的生成。文学创造即语言的一次生成—他者之旅,作家在寻找语言极限的历险中拓展生命的疆界,赋予其作品以异质性。异质性呼唤翻译,又抵抗翻译。本文通过对何为异质性及其在文学翻译中遭遇的“异的考验”等问题的思考,辅以实例指出,在文学翻译中需理解、尊重、表现作品的异质性,帮助其在异的考验中开放出新生命之花。

Literature is the becoming of life.Literary creation is a becoming-other journey of language.Writers expand the boundaries of their life in the search for the limits of language,by giving their works a kind of“foreignness”.Foreignness calls for translation and resists it at the same time.Through the consideration of the elaboration on foreignness and its“experience of the foreign”in literary translation,the article points out that it is necessary,in literary translation,to understand,respect and express the foreignness of works,in order to help them gain a new life in the experience of the foreign.
