“革命文学”不是对五四运动的重复展开,也不是从“文学革命”中简单发展而来。它成为一种可以实现的文学状态,并且只有经过改造了阶级意识并且获得了新生的无产阶级文艺家才能实现。“革命文学”作为一种具有强大包容性的文学形态,它的意义、概念、内涵充满了复杂性:一方面,它属于文学理论上的范畴,具体表现为一种文学活动;另一方面,“革命文学”又远非文学这一范畴所能涵盖。“革命文学”是一种具有鲜明意识形态的话语体系。它不仅以文学、文化、艺术批判的方式,更是以直接参与革命的姿态,与无产阶级解放运动有效的融为一体,建立了自己的话语权力。“革命文学”将文艺与革命合理的统一起来,有利于促进中国近现代文学的发展,推动革命的进程。

“Revolutionary Literature”is neither a repetition of the May Fourth Movement,nor a simple development from the previous“literary revolution”.It becomes a realizable literary state,and only after the transformation of class consciousness and the acquisition of a new generation of proletarian writers can it be realized.As a powerful and inclusive literary form,its meaning,concept and connotation appear vague and complex.It belongs to the category of literary theory,which is embodied as a literary activity.Revolutionary literature is far from being covered by literature,it is a discourse system with distinct ideology.It establishes its own discourse power not only by the way of literature,culture,art criticism,but also by the gesture of direct participation in the revolution and the effective integration of the Proletarian Liberation Movement.It unifies the art and the revolution reasonably,and promotes the Chinese modern literature development consciously.
