摘要
教育全球化浪潮下,我国的高等教育面临教育全球化和语言多样化的挑战。我国高校亟待开展多语管理,并且配合科学的语言管理指导。现有研究缺乏一个统一的语言管理分析模型。本文通过文献综述合介绍世界各地多语高校的语言管理。面对多语现状,各国高校采取了积极或消极的语言政策,其中教学媒介语的融整是重要的语言政策内容之一刀寸学生的语言能力以及当地多语格局产生深远影响。国际高校的经验和教训可以为我国高校借鉴。
In the wake of education internationalization,China's higher education is confronted by botheducation internationalization and multilingualism.It is high time Chinese universities started multilingualmanagement guided by language management theories.However,current studies drawing on various modelsacross disciplines do not yet have a unified language management model.This paper therefore compares andanalyzes research on university language management in various parts of the world and finds the following:Universities adopt either positive or negative language policy towards multilingualism,and one important instrument for the universities is the medium of instruction,which impacts upon students’language competences as well as the local multilingualism structure.These success and lessons of overseas universities mayserve as good references for Chinese universities in language managenent.
