思想政治教育的政治性是其本质属性,社会性是其基本属性。对两者的关系进行探究,有着理论和实践上的价值。思想政治教育的政治性和社会性既有联系,也有不同之处,其联系是指社会性是政治性的前提,政治性是社会性的保障;其区别在于两者的立足点不同、地位不同以及所决定的思想政治教育功能不同。在准确厘定两种属性的涵义及关系之后,还需将视野延伸至探究正确处理两者关系的基本要义上来,即要避免只偏向一方的不良倾向,实现两种属性的良性互促。

The political nature of ideological and political education is its essential attribute,and the social nature is its fundamental attribute,hence,exploring the relationship between the two has theoretical and practical value.The political and social aspects of ideological and political education have both connections and differences.The connections refer to that sociality is the prerequisite of politicality,and politicality is the guarantee of sociality;the difference lies in the different footholds and status of the two and the different functions of ideological and political education it determined.After accurately determining the meaning and relationship of the two attributes,extending the horizon to the basic meaning of correctly handling the relationship between the two is needed,that is,as long as avoiding the tendency of favoring only one side,it will mutually promote each other.
