美国简帛《老子》研究述评

A Review of the Research in America on Bamboo Slips and Silk Manuscripts of Laozi

美国汉学家关于简帛《老子》文本的研究成果主要集中在《老子》的英译、文献学及文字学研究三个方面。本文通过对美国简帛《老子》研究的相关论著的整理分析发现,美国汉学界一直密切关注中国国内考古发现,尤其是出土《老子》的相关动态。积极开展与中国学者的平等对话和交流。研究的角度多样化,研究领域也从单纯的文本翻译拓展到文献学、文字学、历史学、宗教学、哲学等方面。

American sinologists’studies on the bamboo slips and silk manuscripts of Laozi mainly focused on translation and biographical and philological research.Based on the analysis of the related works on the study of Laozi on bamboo slips and silk manuscripts,this paper finds that the American sinologists have been paying close attention to the archaeological discoveries in China,especially the unearthed Laozi on bamboo slips and silk.They also actively engaged in dialogues and exchanges with Chinese scholars.At the same time,their research field has also been expanded from simple text translation to philology,history,religion,philosophy.
