Research on the Construction and Application of a Mobile Learning Platform for English News Listening

英语新闻听力移动学习平台建设与应用问题一直困扰着很多国内英语教师。本研究以英语新闻听力课程思政教学素材为例,基于对英语新闻听力课程思政教学材料的开发,搭建个性化外语教学电台,采用问卷调查的方法收集师生对使用教学电台的反馈意见和改进建议并探讨英语听力教学材料编写问题。调查结果发现,基于移动应用学习的英语新闻听力材料编写应侧重培养学生的语言能力、思辨能力、跨文化能力和记笔记能力。文章针对英语听力教学材料给出了可供课程教学中参考的可行性建议;此外,本研究还简要探讨了如何不断提升教师的综合素养以及新闻听力教学方法及其课程资源建设问题。通过本研究实践,希望在提升大学英语教师综合素养的同时,能够进一步促进基于移动学习的外语课程思政有效教学。

The problem of building and applying a mobile learning platform for English news listening has been troubling many domestic English teachers.This study takes the English news listening teaching materials with ideological-political elements as an example,based on the teaching materials development,building a personalized foreign language learning platform,using a questionnaire to collect feedback from teachers and students on the use of the learning platform and suggestions for its improvement and to discuss the development of English listening teaching materials.The results of the survey revealed that the English news listening materials based on mobile application learning should focus on developing students'language skills,critical thinking skills,intercultural competence and note-taking skills.The article gives practical suggestions for using English listening teaching materials that can be referred to in the curriculum;In addition,the study also briefly discusses how to continuously improve teachers'comprehensive literacy as well as the teaching methods and teaching resources development about English news.Through the practice of this study,it is hoped that while improving the comprehensive literacy of college English teachers,it will further promote the effective teaching of foreign language courses with ideological-political elements based on mobile learning.
