Abstract and key words,window of an academic paper,are the integral part of a paper.This paper probes into the basic components and linguistic features of abstracts and key words,and systematically analyzes the proper academic words.The result reveals that abstract comprises background,aims,methods,results and implications with fixed words.This article aims to help more scholars write academic papers in English more standardized.
