摘要
美国退出世界卫生组织(WHO)是2020年国际社会上具有高凸显度的事件之一,国内外各大主流媒体纷纷对此进行详细报道,具有重大的社会意义和广泛的社会影响。本文在批评话语分析视角下,以韩礼德的及物性系统为分析工具对《中国日报》和《福克斯新闻》关于美国退出世界卫生组织的报道进行了对比分析,旨在揭露不同报道背后隐含的意识形态问题和政治立场。通过分析可以发现,与《中国日报》相比,《福克斯新闻》在报道美国退出世界卫生组织这一事件上看似客观真实,实则缺乏一定的客观性和权威性,其右倾的意识形态十分明显。同时分析结果也说明了及物性系统在分析政治类新闻语篇方面具有一定的理论意义和实践意义。
In 2020,the Withdrawal of the United States from the WHO is one of the most significant events in the international community. The mainstream media all over the world have reported it in detail. From the perspective of critical discourse analysis,this paper takes Halliday’s transitivity system as the analytical tool to make an in-depth analysis of the reports of China Daily and Fox News on the Withdrawal of the United States from WHO. The aim is to reveal the ideological issues and political positions hidden behind different reports. Through a comparative analysis,it can be found that compared with China Daily,Fox News which seems objective and truthful lacks objectivity and authority. The latter’s ideology is obvious. At the same time,the results also show that transitivity system has certain theoretical and practical significance in the analysis of political news.
