In this paper,the causes of frequent wire breaking and cutting of wire rope of bridge ship unloader is analyzed.And a new type of grab guide rope device is designed,which improves the material,shape and structure of guide rope device.Applying the new type of grab guide rope device,the service life of the wire rope of the bridge ship unloader can be prolonged,and the workload of maintenance personnel can be reduced,and the non-stop of the equipment can be reduced,and the operating efficiency of the equipment can be improved.The new type of grab guide rope device has the value of popularization in the transportation industry.
