An introduction was made on the general information of powerhouse project of Laokou Navigation Complex on Yujiang River,based on which the author analyzed the geological conditions of powerhouse,discussed the foundation excavation and protection measures,treatment of geological defects such as fault and karst cave.The treatment measures include consolidation grouting andante-seepage curtain.Combined with the monitoring data since the project was put into operation,the foundation treatment was evaluated to be proper and effective.
