The essence of university library service is the interactive relationship between University library and society.The social change has a profound impact on people’s life,work and learning style and the service mode of university library must keep pace with the era.No matter what type of library,it has the mission of publicizing knowledge and culture to the public and supporting learning and research.Contemporary university libraries are facing both challenges and opportunities.In the face of challenges,how can university libraries give full play to their own advantages,expand the scope of service and improve the quality of service?How can university libraries bring forth the new and seek opportunities?The author thinks that it is a good way for university libraries to go out and seek cross domain cooperation,which can not only effectively realize their social value,but also meet the growing needs and expectations of users.
