逆向国际化企业跨界搜索如何影响商业模式创新?——制度嵌入的非线性调节作用

How Boundary-Spanning Search Affects Business Model Innovation for Reverse Internationalization Enterprise?--Nonlinear Moderating Role of Institution Embeddedness

转型背景下逆向国际化企业的商业模式创新面临挑战。本文整合资源观和制度理论,构建了制度嵌入对跨界搜索与商业模式创新关系的非线性调节模型,并利用218家样本企业数据进行实证检验。结果表明:先动式搜索对效率型和新颖型商业模式创新均有促进作用,反应式搜索对两类商业模式创新的影响完全相反;正式制度嵌入和非正式制度嵌入分别对先动式搜索与商业模式创新有相反的非线性调节作用;正式制度嵌入仅对反应式搜索与效率型商业模式创新有非线性调节,非正式制度嵌入对反应式搜索与两类商业模式创新的关系产生截然不同的调节作用。本文在深化跨界搜索对商业模式创新作用机制的同时,也为逆向国际化企业在制度嵌入情境下开展商业模式创新实践提供了新的指导依据。

It is a challenge for reverse internationalization enterprise to realize business model innovation(BMI)in the context of transitional economy.It analysed non-linear moderating effect of institution embeddedness(IE)on the relationship between boundary-spanning search strategy and BMI by integrating the resource-based view(RBV)and institutional theory,and conducted an empirical research through 218 sample enterprises.The results show that proactive search promote efficient BMI and novelty BMI,while responsive search has different effect on the two types of business model innovation.Formal IE and informal IE have opposite nonlinear moderating effects on proactive search and efficient/novelty BMI respectively.Formal IE only moderates responsive search and efficient BMI nonlinearly,while informal IE plays different moderating roles in the relationships between responsive search and two types of business model innovation.It not only deepens the mechanism of boundary-spanning search on business model innovation,but also provides new guidance for reverse internationalization enterprises to carry out business model innovation practice in the context of institutional embeddedness.
