Luoyang Bridge,known as the first bridge in China,is the first Girder bridge across the sea,and has an important historical impact on Quanzhou.The completion of the bridge reshaped the geographical traffic pattern of ancient Quanzhou,promoted the economic and trade development of Quanzhou Port,and highlighted the special military geographical value.Luoyang Bridge is closely related to the development of ancient Quanzhou Buddhism,which is mainly reflected in monks'participation in the construction of Bridges,the construction of Buddhist buildings and the popularity of Buddhist beliefs.In ancient Quanzhou,folk beliefs flourished,the belief in Shuangzhong,the belief in King Tongyuan,the belief in Xuantian Heaven Emperor and the gods of Luoyang Bridge were all related to Luoyang Bridge.Based on Luoyang Bridge,Luoyang Bridge augury ballad,Luoyang Bridge benevolent rule,Luoyang Bridge Literature,and"Luoyang Bridge"symbols emerged,which became an important part of ancient Quanzhou.
