Walking with History:Exhibition for the 80th Anniversary of the Building of SCFAI(1940-2020)

2020年10月,四川美术学院迎来了建校八十华诞。四川美术学院美术馆策划“与历史同行:四川美术学院建校80周年(1940—2020)”展览向母校献礼。展览按时间顺序划分为两大版块:1940—1978年、1978年—2020年,两大版块由11个专题展组成,基本思路是注重学统梳理,构建创作谱系;强调历史语境,重视地域特色,重点突出“文脉与历史”“传统与经典”,以及时代使命与当代视野。

In Oct.2020,SCFAI(Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts)celebrated its 80th anniversary.Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute curated the exhibition“Walking with History:Exhibition for the 80th Anniversary of the Building of SCFAI(1940-2020)”to present a gift to the alma mater.The exhibition is divided into two sections according to the chronological order:from 1940 to 1978,and from 1978 to 2020.The two sections are composed of 11 thematic exhibitions,whose basic idea is to pay attention to the sorting of academic system and construct the genealogy of creation.They emphasize historical context and regional characteristics,with emphasis on“context and history”,“tradition and classics”,as well as the mission of the era and contemporary vision.
