摘要
“丁乙:十字体”展览以时间为轴线,梳理和展现丁乙自20世纪80年代中后期以来以“十字”作为一个基本的图像元素而发展至今的创作体系,同时首次呈现丁乙为此次个展特别创作的一组大型绘画作品,这组作品体现了艺术家近期创作的新突破。在不同的时期,艺术家在创作上不断尝试新手法,多维度地进行实验并从中获得鲜明的语汇、笔法、语法和修辞方式,使“十字”从一个基本符号生长为一个包容多种文法的表达体系。《当代美术家》与艺术家丁乙探讨了他的创作方法,与近期新的尝试。
The Cross-Style is arranged by chronological order,teasing and demonstrating the creation system of Ding Yi,with cross-style as the basic image element,since middle and late 1980.Meanwhile,this solo exhibition has displayed a group of large-scale paintings specially made for this exhibition with newly achieved breakthrough.In different periods,the artists has never ceased trying new methods,experimenting from various perspectives and obtaining unique languages,techniques,grammars and rhetoric,which has made“cross-style”grow to a expression system including a variety of grammars.Contemporary Artists interviewed with Ding Yi,and discussed his creation methods and new trials.
