Teaching material construction for the“English Newspaper Reading”course at medical universities highlights medical humanities in content selection.It is a dynamic process that emphasizes student’s involvement in teaching material construction.The forms of the teaching material are diversified.This paper focuses on the content selection and compilation for medical humanities as well as E-learning platform and database construction.It is suggested that teachers and students should cooperate with each other to compile innovative and practical“English Newspapers Reading”textbooks in accordance with the requirements of medical education.
