Essential Differences Between Core Socialist Valuesand Contemporary Western “Universal Values”

随着西方资本主义的崛起和全球扩张,脱胎于基督教的西方“普世”观念逐渐发展成为西方“普世价值”。中国特色社会主义与西方资本主义在经济制度、政治制度和法律制度上的根本区别决定了社会主义核心价值与当代西方“普世价值”有本质区别。当代西方“普世价值”论的内在本质是要以西方发达资本主义国家奉行的“自由”“民主”“平等”等所谓的“普遍价值”来改造中国,进而颠覆中国特色社会主义的国家政权。通过全面深化改革和解决当前中国的实际问题等途径来增强中国人民对中国特色社会主义的自信,让中国人民自觉有效抵制当代西方“普世价值”论。

With the rise of western capitalism and its global expansion,the western“universal”concept born out of Christianity has gradually developed into the western theory of“Universal Values”.The fundamental differences between socialism with Chinese characteristics and western capitalism in terms of economic system,political system and legal system determine the fundamental differences between Core Socialist Values and contemporary western“Universal Values”.The intrinsic nature of contemporary western“Universal Values”is to transform China with its values insisted by western developed capitalist countries,like“freedom”,“democracy”,and“equality”,and to overthrow the state power of socialism with Chinese characteristics.To consciously resist the“Universal Values”,it s imperative that we strengthen confidence on socialism with Chinese characteristics through comprehensively deepening reform and solving the practical problems of contemporary China.
