材质、题材与图像:“竹林七贤与荣启期” 画像砖渊源考

On the Origin of the Portrait Brick of"Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove and RONG Qiqi"with its Material,Subject and Image

自20世纪六七十年代至今,在南京、丹阳两地发掘的八座南朝帝陵中,相继发现以"竹林七贤与荣启期"为题材的画像砖。以"七贤"画像砖装饰帝王墓室,是由一个成熟的机制来实施完成,而且渊源有自的。关于"七贤"画像砖的渊源,应包括三个方面的考察:一,此种艺术形式所采用材质及制作方法之来源;二,此种艺术所选取题材之来源;三,此种艺术所选取图像之来源。

Since the 1960s and 1970s,portrait bricks with the theme of"Seven Sages in the Bamboo Forest and RONG Qiqi"have been discovered one after another in the eight tombs of the Southern Dynasties excavated in Nanjing and Danyang.The decoration of the emperor’s tomb with the"seven sages"portrait bricks is implemented by a mature mechanism and has its own origins.Three aspects should be investigated that regarding the origin of the"Seven Sages"portrait bricks:first,the source of the materials and production methods used in this art form;second,the source of the subject matter selected for this art form;third,the source of the images selected for this art form.
