Facing the Future:Museums and Art History in East Asia--Summary of the 2019 World Art History Forum in Tokyo,Japan

国际艺术史学会于2019年组织并举办了第三届艺术史论坛,主题为"面向未来:东亚地区的博物馆与艺术史"。此次论坛包含两个议题:"与西方长期接触之前的亚洲艺术中的跨文化途径"和"与西方遭遇之后的现代东亚博物馆、艺术收藏和艺术史的建立与发展",重在考察全球化时代下的东亚艺术史,探索了博物馆、艺术史以及相关机构的基础与现代发展,也对近代艺术家作品收藏、艺术史研究等实践活动进行了进一步的研究。

The International Art History Society organized and held the third Art History Forum in 2019 with the theme"Facing the Future:Museums and Art History in East Asia".The forum included two topics:"Cross-cultural approaches in Asian art before long-term contact with the West"and"The establishment and development of modern East Asian museums,art collections and art history after encounters with the West".It was focusing on the history of East Asian art in the era of globalization,while exploring the foundation and modern development of museums,art history,and related institutions,and conducted further research on the collection of works of modern artists,art history and other practices and activities.
