The prevalence of autoimmune hepatitis is gradually increasing worldwide in recent years.AIH is multifactorial and involves the interaction of both genetic background and environmental factors.Although some patients can achieve histological remission after immunosuppressive treatment,there are still many unsolved diagnosis and treatment problems.This review expounds on some recent research progress from epidemiology,mechanism,therapy and prognosis aspects,aiming at providing useful references for researchers in related fields.
