经典阅读与思政教育——英国文学课程思政体系之尝试性建构

The Reading of Literary Classics and the Ideological and Political Education: A Tentative Construction of Ideological and Political Education in the Course of British Literature

英国文学经典阅读是英国文学课程的重要组成部分,是众多国内外高校实施"通识教育"、培养"全人"的重要途径。阅读英国文学经典虽有助于提高学生的英语运用能力和文学赏析能力,但其担负的意识形态功能也不容忽视。因此,我们有必要探索新的课程体系,将思政教育有机融入英国文学经典阅读。本文尝试以个人篇、社会篇和国家篇三个模块为框架,以英雄、爱情、人性、法律、人权以及经济霸权、语言权力、中国形象等为主题,引导学生对英国文学经典传递的价值和思想观念进行批判性思考,并辅以社会热点问题讨论,以培养学生的批判性思维,增强思辨能力和跨文化能力,使其能够在国际视野中深刻理解和思考我国主流价值观的思想内涵,真正在教学中实现"立德树人"这一目标。

The reading of British literary classics is an integral part of the course of British Literature,and an important means of carrying out "liberal education" and cultivating "the whole man" in many universities both at home and abroad.However,although such a reading helps enhance students’ capability of using English and appreciating literature,we cannot ignore its ideological function.Therefore,it is necessary for us to explore how to construct a new course system which integrates the ideological and political education organically into the reading of British literary classics.This paper attempts to tease out British literary classics by constructing three modules on the individual,the social and the national levels,and introducing such topics as heroes,love,humanity,law,human rights,economic hegemony,the power of language,the image of China with discussions of hot-button issues or social topics,with a view to guiding students to carry out critical thinkings of the values and ideas transmitted by those classics in a way that can enhance their capabilities of critical thinking and cross-cultural communication,and help them understand and reflect on the ideological content of our mainstream values from an international perspective,so as to realize the goal of "moral education" in practical teaching activities.
