技术与人文:疫情危机下的数字化生存否思--2020年新媒体研究述评

Technology and Humanities:Unthinking on Digital Survival Under the COVID-19 Crisis--A Summary of New Media Research in 2020

在新冠疫情全球肆虐和智能技术加速发展的大背景下,2020年的新媒体研究面对技术与人文的复杂纠缠和两难困境,呈现出浓厚的反思与批判色彩,似乎已经进入了一个新的"否思"(unthinking)阶段。本文从2020年的新媒体研究中提炼出六大议题,即新冠疫情中的社交媒体及其影响、智能传播时代的身体与人机关系问题、算法的负效应与算法治理、数字鸿沟的新发展与新表现、马克思主义理论视野下的数字劳动、大视频时代的网络直播与短视频,并分别加以简要地述评,以期为相关研究者提供一定的借鉴和参考。

In the context of the global outbreak of the COVID-19 and the rapid development of smart technology,new media research in 2020 has shown strong reflection and criticism.In the face of the complex entanglement and dilemma between technology and humanities,it seems to have entered a new stage of unthinking.This paper extracts and briefly reviews six major topics respectively from new media research in 2020,namely,social media and its impact during the COVID-19 epidemic,relationship between the body and human-machine in the era of intelligent communication,negative effects of algorithms and algorithm governance,and new development of the digital divide,digital labor under the vision of Marxist theory,live video streaming and short-video in the videoeverywhere era,so as to provide some reference to related researchers.
