1937年全面抗战爆发后,国民政府对台政策发生了重大改变,从原先的不敢刺激日本侵略者改为积极争取光复台湾。这一转变极大地鼓舞了在大陆的台籍同胞。这些台籍志士积极开展台湾光复行动,在当时社会形成一股光复台湾的热潮。宋斐如作为台籍志士,一直致力于台湾复归祖国,积极投身到光复台湾运动中。一方面,他利用自身的影响力,积极促进台湾各革命团体的联合;另一方面他又通过政党和自身职务之便,为台湾光复做了大量的组织发动工作。此外,他还发挥自己报人的特长,在报纸杂志上发表大量有关台湾的文章,引起国人对台湾的关注和重视。

After the outbreak of the all-round Anti Japanese war in 1937,the national government's policy toward Taiwan changed greatly from not daring to stimulate the Japanese aggressors to actively striving for the restoration of Taiwan.This change has greatly inspired Taiwan compatriots on the mainland.These Taiwan patriots actively carried out the restoration of Taiwan,forming a wave of restoration of Taiwan at that time.Song Feiru,as a Taiwan patriot,has been committed to Taiwan's return to the motherland and actively participated in the movement of Taiwan's restoration.On the one hand,he used his own influence to actively promote the unity of various revolutionary groups in Taiwan.On the other hand,he did a lot of organization and mobilization work for Taiwan's restoration through his political party and his own position.In addition,he gave full play to his newspaperman's expertise and published a large number of articles about Taiwan in newspapers and magazines,which aroused the attention of Chinese people to Taiwan.
