《太平寰宇记·吐蕃》考论——兼谈西藏地方志在宋代的发展

A Study of the Records of Tibet in Tai Ping Huan Yu Ji,a Chinese Geographic Book of the Song Dynasty--Also a discussion of compiling chorography of Tibet during the Song Dynasty

《太平寰宇记·吐蕃》是宋初乐史著《太平寰宇记》中专记今西藏地区的篇目。在借鉴《元和郡县图志》等史籍编修体例基础上,乐史大量采撷《通典·吐蕃》和《旧唐书·吐蕃传》中的材料纂成《太平寰宇记·吐蕃》。虽然仅列总述及四至、土俗物产、山、海等目,且篇幅大小不一、详略悬殊,体例并不完备,但《太平寰宇记·吐蕃》却具备了我国传统方志的基本特征,可谓西藏地区的一部简志,也是目前所见西藏方志最早之作。《太平寰宇记》中的此类篇目,是我国边疆民族地区地方志资料的重要组成部分,有必要开展更加全面、细致的考察和研究。

Tai Ping Huan Yu Ji was written by Yue Shi in the early Song Dynasty,and this book has a part which is specifically written about Tibet.On the basis of the compiling and editing styles of some historical books such as Yuan He Jun Xian,a geographic chorography of the Tang Dynasty,Yue Shi compiled a large number of historical materials from the records of Tibet in Tong Dian and in Jiu Tang Shu,two Chinese historical book of the Tang Dynasty,into his book.Although in this book’s table of contents there are some separate sections written about local products,mountains,rivers and others,and the length of the section and their level of detail are different,and the layout of the book is not that well-arranged.However,the book has the basic characteristics of the Chinese traditional chorographic compiling,and the records of Tibet can be a brief history of Tibet and the earliest chorography of Tibet.Thus,Tai Ping Huan Yu Ji contains important historical data of the border ethnic areas of China,so it is necessary to carry out some more comprehensive and detailed studies on it.
