摘要
提出一种适用于LED(Light-Emitting Diode)车灯可见光通信(Visible Light Communication,VLC)系统的部分响应编码方式,用于解决车灯在有限带宽下的大容量传输。相比未编码系统,我们通过双二进制(Duo-Binary,DB)编码,使得基于无载波幅度相位(Carrierless Amplitude and Phase,CAP)调制的车灯系统最高传输速率提高了100 M,证明了其有效性。这是双二进制编码首次用于车灯可见光通信系统。实验结果表明,在经过2 m自由空间传输后,基于车灯系统单向最高传输速率超过了1.2 Gb/s,同时误码率(Bit Error Ratio,BER)低于7%硬判前向纠错码(HD-FEC)门限3.8×10^(-3)。并且在系统线性工作区域,双二进制编码是优于未编码的系统。所述实验系统能满足近距离车间高速通信。
In this paper,we proposed a partial response coding system in headlight visible light communication(VLC)to achieve a high-capacity transmission with limited bandwidth.Compared to the system without encoding,the maximum transmission rate of the headlight-VLC system is increased by 100 M with Duo-Binary(DB)coding,where the carrierless amplitude and phase modulation(CAP)is used.This is the first time that duo-binary coding has been used in the headlight-VLC system.The experimental results show that after 2-m free space transmission,the maximum unidirectional transmission rate of the headlight-VLC system exceeds 1.2 Gb/s,and the bit error rate(BER)is lower than 7%HD-FEC threshold,which is 3.8×10^(-3).And in the linear working area of the system,system works better with duo-binary coding compared to the noncoding system.The experimental system can meet the requirement of high-speed communication for short-distance inter-vehicle communication.
