参孙的“空心人”形象探析

An Analysis of Samson,s“Hollow Man” Image

参孙是希伯来文学经典《士师记》中最著名的一位士师,他的故事发生在古代以色列民族出埃及、进迦南以后,与迦南本地民族相互斗争又相互影响是这一历史阶段的主旋律。参孙在母腹中就肩负着“拯救以色列人出非利士人手”的神圣使命和沐浴着“英雄总是出自不孕妇女”的伟大荣光,他原本是神选的士师和拿细耳人。但参孙后续的成长故事并没有朝着这一预定方向发展,他反而成为了一个“空心人”。参孙“空心人”般的种种表现是其家庭环境与社会环境双重作用的产物,时代整体的“空心”造就了生存于其中个体的“空心”。

Samson is the most famous character in The Book of Judges that is a classic of Hebrew literature. The Samson story took place after the ancient Israelite people left Egypt and entered Canaan, and the battle and mutual influence with the native Canaanite people is the main melody of this historical stage. Even in his mother’s womb, Samson was appointed with the sacred mission of "saving Israelites from the hands of the Philistines" and filled with the glory of "heroes born from barren women". Samson was originally God’s chosen judge and Nazarite. However, Samson’s subsequent growing stories did not follow this pattern. Instead, he became a hollow man. The manifestations of Samson’s "hollow man" are caused by his familial and social environment, which means the hollowness of the Age of Judges affected individual’s hollowness.
