The present situation and existing problems of medium and long-term security checking in Shanxi electric power are discussed,and the basic principles and assumptions are put forward for the medium and long-term power transaction security checking based on power balance and network constraints,which provides ideas and basis for the development and application of the later medium and long-tenn power security checking program.
