Analysis on the Current Situation of Suzhou City Under the Target of Carbon Peak

本文解释碳排放、碳达峰、碳中和的含义,选取江苏省苏州市作为研究对象,通过碳排放强度、Tapio碳脱钩弹性系数模型,探讨2015~2020年苏州地区碳排放与经济增长的耦合关系,对苏州碳达峰情况进行测算。建议结合城市发展特色,有针对性地持续开展低碳行动。

This paper explains the meaning of carbon emission, carbon peak and carbon neutralization. Taking Suzhou City of Jiangsu Province as the research object, the coupling relationship between carbon emission and economic growth in Suzhou from 2015 to 2020 is discussed by using the carbon emission intensity and Tapio carbon decoupling elastic coefficient model, and the peak carbon emission in Suzhou is calculated. It is suggested that the low-carbon action should be carried out in a targeted way in combination with the characteristics of urban development.
