短视频“下乡”与老年群体的日常生活重构——基于一个华北村庄的田野调查

Short Video′s Popularity in the Countryside and the Reconstruction of the Elderly′s Daily Life:a Field Investigation of a Village in North China

作为一种简单易用的新媒介,短视频甫一出现就迅速获得了老年群体的喜爱,然而有关其沉迷上瘾、迷失自我的问题很快又引起社会热议,似乎在短视频面前,他们全然处于茫然被动的状态。文章以三重勾连理论为研究框架,通过对一个华北村庄的老年人进行访谈和参与式观察后发现:在生活器物层面,老年群体的短视频实践体现在其被视为一种开源节流的实用物品;在文本内容层面,他们的短视频实践体现出补偿性娱乐和技能学习的特性;在空间场景层面,则体现出性别实践逆转与家庭共享空间的衰落,以及地方社会的凸显与村庄公共交往的再造。因此,老年群体的短视频实践并非只是一种简单的娱乐事项,更是一种能动的、嵌套于他们日常的新型生活方式,其背后反映的是老年群体对数字生活的再嵌入。

As a simple and easy-to-use new medium,the short video quickly became popular among the elderly as soon as it appeared.However,their addiction and loss of themselves quickly arouses the fierce social discussion,and it seems that they are completely in a passive situation.The paper uses the triple articulation theory as the research framework.And based on the interviews and participatory observations with the elderly in a village in North China,the paper finally finds that:(1)on the aspect of living implements,the short video practice of the elderly reflects that it is regarded as a practical item of"increasing income and reducing expenditure";(2)on the aspect of symbolic texts,the short video practice of the elderly group reflects the characteristics of compensatory entertainment and skill learning;(3)on the aspect of sociospatial context,it reflects the reversal of gender practice and the decline of family shared space,as well as the reconstruction of local society and village public interaction.Therefore,the elderly group′s short video practice is not only a simple entertainment,but also a dynamic new lifestyle embedded in their daily life.What lies behind it is the re-embedding of the elderly into their digital lives.
