译者的“他者”思维对中国古典诗词的反观——以《古诗十九首》为例

Reflection on Classic Chinese Poetry From the Perspective of Translators' Otherness:A Case Study on The 19 Ancient Poems

汉代大儒董仲舒提出"诗无达诂"的诗歌阐释观点后,中国自古以来的诗词研究者们无不皓首穷经地解读古典诗词。然而,受常态化的汉语文化思维结构的影响,许多古典诗词文本得不到充分的多角度的阐释。翻译是译者使用"他者"思维对原文本的检索和阐释。在外域文化思维介入之后,译者会得出与传统训诂不同的阐释,并且从中国古典诗词文本中发现逻辑思维、叙述结构等多方面的问题,从而产生更传神合理的译文。

Since Dong Zhongshu's idea that"a poem cannot be interpreted to its exact meaning"came out,Chinese scholars of poetry have been endeavoring to dig out the closest meaning of a poem by reading through all kinds of Chinese classics.However,influenced by conventionalized Chinese thinking patterns,many classical poems are not interpreted from various angles,and therefore are not fully interpreted.Translation is a process of searching and interpreting a source text in which a translator takes advantage of"other"thinking patterns.With the introduction of the thinking modes of a foreign culture,the translator may put forth a new interpretation of a poem,different from traditional ones;he may also find out some weaknesses in the narration of Chinese classical poems,such as logical and structural problems.Synthesizing traditional interpretations and his own interpretation through"other" thinking modes,he may render a vivid and ideal translation which is faithful to the source text to the utmost.
