Discussion on the Essence of Sanjiao from the Theory of the Yellow Emperor’s Internal Classics

《内经》《难经》对三焦形态缺乏明确描述,使历代医家对三焦“形名”争论不休.探明三焦究竟是当今解剖学中的何种组织或脏器,是解决三焦各种争议的关键.通过对三焦“有名而无形”说的辨析,知三焦有具体的形质,只是不与其他内脏一样有特定的形态.探讨三焦形态结构特点和上焦、中焦、下焦各自所在部位,比照当今医学解剖知识,可以明确《内经》《难经》中三焦的实体解剖结构为小网膜、大网膜和肠系膜.

In Neijing and Nanjing,there is no clear description of the shape of Sanjiao.This has led to genera⁃tions of doctors arguing about the shape of Sanjiao.It is the key to solve various disputes about Sanjiao to understand what kind of tissues or organs are present in the medical anatomy.Through the analysis of the“famous but invisible”theory of Sanjiao,we know that Sanjiao has a specific shape,but not the same as other viscera.By discussing the mor⁃phological and structural characteristics and the location of Sanjiao,it can be clearly defined that the substance of San⁃jiao in Neijing and Nanjing is the lesser omentum.greater omentum and mesentery.
