Influences of Cultural Differences between Britain and Italy on Male Suit Design

英国和意大利两国的文化差异造就了其各具特点的西装流派。文章从英国和意大利的文化特征入手,梳理两国西装文化的发展。通过对其各自的代表品牌设计案例分析,从西装风格、设计要素以及服饰搭配方面,对比了两国文化对西装设计的影响。该研究可为我国西装行业发展提供借鉴,使西装设计更好地结合中国文化,形成中国的西装流派。

Cultural differences of Britain and Italy have led to their representative male suits.Starting with the cultural characteristics of Britain and Italy,this paper combed the development of suit culture in the two countries.By analyzing the design cases of their representative brands,the paper compared the influences of the two cultures on suit designs from the aspects of suit style,design elements and garment matching.This study can provide references for the development of suits in China,so that suits can better combine with Chinese unique culture and form my male suit style.
