Comparative Test of Different Types of Hami Melon Varieties

本试验以14个哈密瓜品种为试材,记录了其田间长势及果实品质的相关的数据,并进行了分析,以期筛选出适宜在北京种植的白皮白肉和白皮绿肉厚皮甜瓜品种。结果表明:14个参试品种田间长势及果实品质均有显著差异,其中,‘众天7号’的心糖、边糖均为所有品种中最高的,分别为16.5%和13.0%,果实精致、果肉偏厚、口感酥,并且果香浓厚。‘甘甜9号’单果质量最大,可达2.392 kg、肉厚最厚3.8 cm、心糖最高、口感酥脆。综合看来,‘众天7号’和‘甘甜9号’这两个品种可进一步在北京地区推广种植。

In this experiment,14 varieties of Hami melon were selected as test materials,and the related data of field growth and fruit quality were recorded and analyzed,in order to select the white skin white meat and white skin green meat thick skin melon varieties suitable for planting in Beijing.The results showed that there were significant differences in field growth and fruit quality among the 14 tested varieties.The sugar content in central fruit tissue and in side fruit tissues of'Zhongtian 7'were the highest among all varieties,accounting for 16.5%and 13%respectively.The fruit was delicate,with thick pulp,crisp taste and strong aroma.The single fruit weight of'Gantian 9'was the heaviest,reaching 2.392 kg;the thickest meat was 3.8 cm;the sugar content in central tissue was the highest and the taste was crisp.In general,the two varieties of'Zhongtian 7'and'Gantian 9'can be further promoted in Beijing.
